NUCLEAR PHYSICS

Physics 560
( MWF 12.30 pm, PAB B109)

The course provides an introduction to modern Nuclear Physics.
We will begin by understanding the one and two nucleon systems, and then embark upon larger nuclei.

The minimum prerequisite is one year of graduate level quantum mechanics and one year of QFT is desirable.

Due to Budget constraints - Assignments will not be graded as the UW has not provided a TA for the course :(

The text for the course is Nuclear Physics in a Nutshell by Carlos A. Bertulani, (ISBN-13: 978-0-691-12505-3).
