The Nuclear Theory Group at Brookhaven National Laboratory plans to hire a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work in theoretical nuclear physics, starting on October 1, 2017.

Research activities in the group include research on perturbative QCD and spin physics, lattice QCD at high temperatures and densities, QCD at high energies (small x), development of many-body QCD methods, heavy ion phenomenology in support of the experimental program at RHIC and the LHC, and research in support of future facilities in Nuclear Physics.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in nuclear or particle physics, awarded within the past five years. Applications received by December 1st will receive full consideration.

The position will be in the area of heavy-ion physics, QCD at high energies (small x), many-body QCD, and the physics relevant to a future electron ion collider. Interested candidates, who meet the above requirements, should submit an application through
