Q: What are your physics/science interests?
I am primarily interested in theoretical nuclear and high energy physics. Though really, any sort of theoretical physics piques my interest.
Q: What are your other interests?
I really like painting, particularly using watercolor. I think this technique allows the paint to speak for itself in a way; the water flows according to its own rules, the artist can only manipulate it to a certain extent.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
I would like to pursue physics at the graduate level, in a doctoral program.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
I knit scarves when I have a particularly difficult problem (physics or otherwise) that I have to think through.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
Black holes. I did a report on them in high school and decided that physics was my favorite subject.
Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
I would be happy with any rescued animal.
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend
your time?
I would travel to an animal conservatory that specialized in Big Cats and would try to help as many as possible.
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
The origins of the universe, what caused or stimulated the creation of the universe.
