Q: What are your physics/science interests?
My primary interests are in astrophysics and particle physics. Studying neutrino less double beta decay with the Majorana group is a nice way for me to explore new subfields while still hitting these two interests.
Q: What are your other interests?
I play music, principally focusing on guitar and bass, but also dabbling in drums, keyboards, and even ukulele. I also am a fan of biking and hiking.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
I hope to attend graduate school, either in physics or astronomy.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
I briefly considered majoring in Government with a focus in Political Theory, before settling on Physics/Astro.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
My interest in physics started in High School, when I took my first physics class. I liked the fact that physics was a science with more mathematical basis than any other I'd studied.
Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
In an ideal world, I'd live by water and have a pet otter.
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend
your time?
I'd use the money to buy a nice backpack and a lot of food. I'd then go backpacking for the month in a forest that I'd never explored.
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
I'd probably use the grant to study theoretical cosmology.
