Q: What are your physics/science interests?
At school I study condensed matter physics, specifically strongly correlated materials, but this summer I discovered
my strong interest in particle physics to which I had previously been unexposed.
Q: What are your other interests?
Outside of physics, my primary interest is music. I play trumpet in the marching band and jazz ensemble at BC and try to
go to as many shows as I can in the Boston area. I also particularly enjoy cult and science fiction films and one of my
favorite authors is Kurt Vonnegut.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
After college I plan on taking a year off to either work (in some capacity relating to physics) or work on different
organic farms around the world (WWOOFing).
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
My twin brother is 7 inches taller than me. I'm better looking though so its okay.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
Watching shows like The Universe on television when I was in high school and learning about how the universe might be constructed.
Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
Schrödinger's cat. Just kidding, that would be short lived, a chocolate lab.
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend
your time?
I would travel to Patagonia and hike.
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
Lucid dreaming
