Q: What are your physics/science interests?
I am interested in both particle physics and astrophysics. Prior to the REU program my research has included looking for
evidence of microlensing events in exoplanet searches.
Q: What are your other interests?
I build rockets and fly planes with the Yale Undergraduate Aerospace Association. In my spare time,
I enjoy reading science fiction and designing games.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
I plan to go to graduate school to obtain a PhD in physics.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
In eighth grade, I pulled a water fountain off of a wall.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
Science has long interested me. I find physics particularly fascinating as it provides
a peek into the fundamental rules that govern the universe.
Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
A very cuddly T-Rex.
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend
your time?
If I had unlimited funds, I would take a trip to space (and back).
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
I would study artificial general intelligence, the technology with the most potential to revolutionize human civilization.
