Q: What are your physics/science interests?
I'm interested in experimental nuclear and particle physics, but I'm also very interested in the science of renewable energy resources, especially solar and wind power.

Q: What are your other interests?
I love doing basically any type of outdoor activity, but I especially love running, skiing, and hiking. I also play the trumpet and love to read.

Q: What would you like to do after college?
After college, I will likely take a year off to work or travel before going to physics grad school. Eventually I'd like be a professor or a research scientist.

Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
I have been zorbing before. (An activity where you roll down a big hill in a giant plastic ball).

Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
I figured out that I was interested in physics when I was in middle school and couldn't stop watching videos about black holes and interviews with Stephen Hawking. I also had a great high school physics teacher who made me want to continue to study physics at a higher level.

Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
I would love to have a pet snow leopard.

Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend your time?
I would spend my time traveling, ideally with a few friends. And within the month, I would also donate a great deal of money to research in healthcare, especially diabetes and cancer research.

Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
I don't know the answer to this question right now, but it's something I've been trying to figure out.
