Q: What are your physics/science interests?
I am interested in quantum computing but am still exploring different areas of physics. Whichever specific branch of physics I pursue I plan to do so as a researcher.

Q: What are your other interests?
Biking, running, hiking, skiing, reading, and anything else that strikes my fancy.

Q: What would you like to do after college?
I am looking forward to graduate school at the moment, hopefully going somewhere with a great physics program and beautiful scenery!

Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
I have worked as an assistant beekeeper in the past, but never got to have my own beehive since my father is extremely allergic to them and didn't want 60,000 bees in his backyard!

Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
I always enjoyed science and math, but it was my first physics class at the university level that let me know that physics was the subject for me.

Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
Assuming it wouldn't eat me, a grizzly bear. Otherwise I would like a Newfoundland!

Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend your time?
I would focus on collecting experiences. I would get together a small group of my best friends and explore as much as we could. We would see the national parks and make sure to at least touch every continent. The goal would be to see as much of the natural beauty of the world as possible.

Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
I would like to either continue studying trapped ions for quantum computing or otherwise cable material and general design for a space elevator.
