Q: What are your physics/science interests?
A: So far the areas of science that I am most interested in are Pysics and Chemistry. Within Chemistry I am most interested in Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. I haven't found a favorite area in Physics yet because I've enjoyed pretty much all the areas I've had exposure to. I suppose I would be most interested in the region where Physics and Chemistry come together and are hard to separate.

Q: What are your other interests?
A: Academically my other interests are math and history. Otherwise my interests are reading, travelling, woods, water, and quilting.

Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: I would like to continue my education with grad school but I really don't know what will come after that. Hopefully it will have something to do with Physics.

Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
A: I've lived on three continents and travelled a fair bit on four but I still think that the prettiest place on earth is the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
A: I'm not entirely sure when I started but in high school looking up at the stars and also watching the reflection of light at the bottom of the pool at night kept me interested and made it so that I was willing to take some physics in college.

Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
A: An orca.

Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend your time?
A: I'd do a lot of traveling. I'd first visit my friends from high school that are now scattered around the world, and along the way I'd make sure to stop by historic and scenic places. And I'd learn how to dive (preferably in Malawi).

Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
A: I'm not entirely sure. I would think I'd like to do something near the intersection of Physics and Chemistry but I really don't know enough to say what that would be.
