Q: What are your physics/science interests?
A:I am interested in understanding the most fundamental theories we know, and pushing the boundaries of those theories, but then again we all are. More specifically, I like General Relativity as a theory and how it interacts with other major theories today. The experimental side of things is also fascinating, specifically quantum computing and (what I'm doing now) lots of lasers.
Q: What are your other interests?
A: I enjoy Ultimate Frisbee, swing dancing, cooking, writing, and listening to LOTS of music. I also am very into Japanese, the language and culture are so interesting.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: Immediately, I would like to go to grad school for physics. After that I'm not as sure, but most likely post-docs leading to a teaching job (hopefully). If I decide to go outside academia, it would most likely to get involved with robotics, as that is at the intersection of many of my interests and is a hugely growing field.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
A: I think it is rather strange and interesting that I write. Poems and things, you know?
