Q: What are your physics/science interests?
A: My favorites so far are high energy and particle physics. Obviously, the building and running of the LHC has been very inspiring while I've been taking classes in these fields. I haven't really settled on anything yet though and feel I have some more exploring to do. Wherever I end up I think I would be happy doing theoretical/computational work.
Q: What are your other interests?
A: Besides physics I like keeping myself active with running or weight training. In the summer I've been really into hiking these past couple of years, one of the great things about going to Seattle! Apart from that, I'm usually meeting up with friends in one way or the other during my spare time. Favorite activities include eating sushi and watching non-filler episodes of Bleach, preferably in combination with each other.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: I plan on going to grad school, but I haven't decided where I'd rather go. My current university, Uppsala, Sweden, is really nice, but I think I would like to go somewhere bigger or just different.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
A: I can unfortunately only think of physical attributes. So, I dislocated my shoulder once when I was in China playing badminton with a group of old ladies in a park. That was the third and hopefully final time my shoulder did that.
