Q: What are your physics/science interests?
A: I currently hope to go into physics education research. One of the reasons why I wanted to participate in this REU Program was to work in one of the best Physics Education Research groups in the US. My goal is to gain my doctorates in physics education and continue to do research in that field as well as to teach at the college level.
Q: What are your other interests?
A: I enjoy doing various things. Sometimes I stretch myself out too thin. I like doing outdoor activities such as hiking, running, biking, snowboarding, skiing, and swimming. Indoor activities consist of black and white pencil drawings, knitting, crocheting, playing violin, video games, and reading books.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: After undergrad, I'm currently set on going to grad school at University of Washington for a Doctorates in Physics Education, but may change depending on who accepts me. Once I complete school, I want to live in either Western part of Washington or Oregon. I love the area since there are mountains to snowboard and hike on, bike and run friendly streets and paths, and family near by.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
A: The only strange fact that I can think of is that I can twist my arm all the way around 360 degrees. Freaks people out. :P
