Location and Parking: The
workshop will be held at the building 50 Main Auditorium. See site
map on the workshop web-page.
Parking at the lab is very limited. If you
decide to come up by car let the guard at the door know that you are
coming for the workshop. We will try to get a few parking spaces
reserved for the workshop.
Except for Saturday, there will be NO special busses to bring you to
the lab. Just take the regular shuttle which stops at the corner of
Center/Shattuck for those staying at the Shattuck-hotel. Those
staying in the ALS apartments best use the stop at Shattuck and
Hearst. For a map of the shuttle route look at here.
Note to the speakers: We plan
to put the talks on the web. To help in this effort, please send an
electronic version of your talk, preferably as pdf or postscript file
to V. Koch.
Discussion format:
In order to liven up the discussion, questions and comments from the
floor may include one single slide to be shown. Let's see if this works...
Dinner on Friday: There will
be conference dinner on Friday, June 1. The cost will be approx. $20
per person. We will also collect $5/person for lunch on Saturday. The
money for the Dinner and the Lunch will be collected on the first day
(Thursday) of the workshop.
Those who checked "maybe" for the participation in the Dinner on Saturday,
should let the organizers know at latest by the first morning of the meeting
if the plan to attend. The default is "not attend"
