Although CP violation has been clearly established and in some cases precisely measured, sizable deviations from the Standard Model flavor structure are still allowed. To probe with good sensitivity for possible new physics, measurements that require an understanding of hadronic physics are important. This workshop will focus on areas of flavor physics where knowledge of QCD and interaction between experiment and theory are crucial, with the goal of identifying new directions which will further improve our understanding of semileptonic and nonleptonic decays and specific observables sensitive to new physics. A list of speakers and a tentative schedule will be posted soon. Invited participants should send a $30 check payable in US dollars to "University of Washington" for the registration fee, or plan to pay by cash or check upon arrival at the INT.
