The school is intended for advanced graduate students and beginning postdoctoral researchers in theory or experiment, and will consist of several courses of introductory lectures.

Students will be lodged on the campus of the St. Johns College, Santa Fe, New Mexico, the site of this year's school. The number of students will be limited to about fifty, and some fellowship support is available. The application deadline was May 1, 2002. A few additional students may be accepted if space permits.
