Q: What are your physics/science interests?
I am interested in materials science and learning about the fundamentals of matter interactions.
Q: What are your other interests?
I enjoy spending as much time with my friends as I can, playing soccer, and cooking.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
I am applying to graduate programs in materials science engineering, and hope to do research in materials that can be applied to creating sustainable materials and better batteries. Ultimately, I want my research to work towards addressing climate change.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
I will eat ketchup (and sometimes peanut butter) on almost anything.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
I first became interested in astronomy and wanted to learn more about the universe and the laws that govern it. I've always wanted to be an astronaut, and physics seemed like the path to take me there.
Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
Something large that flies and I could ride. An animate hang glider?
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend
your time?
Go to the moon! Spend some time in the ISS!
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
I would want to conduct a study on how to get me and my future golden retriever to Mars.
