Q: What are your physics/science interests?
A: I am very interested in many areas of physics and mathematics, and even in some areas of other, inferior sciences. I am fascinated by particle physics, string theory, and chaos and nonlinear dynamics. I plan to pursue a career in physics research with an emphasis on high-energy theory.
Q: What are your other interests?
A: My other interests include playing hockey (I play for the UCSD roller
hockey team), riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, philosophy, mountain
biking, poker, reading, camping, and many other things that I can’t think
of right now.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
A: After college, I plan to stay in college and avoid the real world as long
as possible. That means I plan to attend graduate school (after next
year), and then to continue on the path toward working for a research
institution.
Q: Tell us one strange yet interesting fact about yourself?
A: The professor that I’m currently doing research with is the guy that
Butthead (from Mike Judge’s "Beavis and Butthead") was modeled after. I’m not joking.
